Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data OnChalk collects, why, and what choices you have. Plain language wherever possible.
1. Who we are
OnChalk Playbooks is playbook software for football coaches, operated at onchalk.com. Contact: support@onchalk.com.
2. What we collect
- Account data — email, name, date of birth (for age gate), profile photo (optional).
- Coaching content — playbooks, plays, formations, installs, wristbands, call sheets, playsheets, signals.
- Team data — teams, rosters, player positions and numbers.
- Usage — pages viewed, features used, install open/study events, performance metrics (Google Analytics 4).
3. Children & COPPA
OnChalk Playbooks requires users to be 13 or older to create their own account. Younger players participate through a parent-linked profile created by a verified parent or guardian. We never knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
4. How we use data
- Operate the service: deliver installs to assigned players, generate wristbands and call sheets, surface study progress to coaches.
- Communicate: account notifications, security alerts, occasional product updates.
- Improve the product: aggregated analytics. We never sell personal data.
5. Sharing
Data is processed by Google Cloud (Firebase) for hosting, authentication, database, and storage. Payment data, when added, will be processed by Stripe. We do not share user data with advertisers.
6. Retention
Analytics: 2 years. Notifications: 90 days. Invitations & logins: 30 days. Deleted-account residue: 30 days. Coaching content (playbooks, plays, installs) is retained as long as the owning coach account is active — portable across teams and seasons by design.
7. Account deletion
You can delete your OnChalk Playbooks account at any time. We delete your personal identity and your coach-owned playbook content. Roster entries you created for a player are preserved on that player’s account (so their study history isn’t lost) but unlinked from your name. See our Terms for full handling.
8. Your rights
Access, correction, export, and deletion are available on request to support@onchalk.com. We respond within 30 days.
9. Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization. We respect Do Not Track. No cross-site advertising trackers.
10. Changes
Material changes will be announced by email to active accounts and reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
