Terms of Service
By using OnChalk you agree to these terms. They’re intentionally short — read them.
1. The service
OnChalk Playbooks provides software for football coaches: teams & rosters, plays, formations, installs, wristbands, call sheets, playsheets, and player study tracking. Subscription details are on the pricing page.
2. Eligibility
You must be 13 or older to create an account. Younger players participate through a parent-linked profile created by a verified parent or guardian.
3. Your account
You’re responsible for your credentials and for activity on your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access at support@onchalk.com.
4. Subscriptions & billing
Paid subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Pricing is shown at checkout. Taxes added where applicable. Refunds handled per the policy linked in your billing settings.
5. Acceptable use
- No harassment, hate, or doxxing of athletes, coaches, or families.
- No uploading content you don’t own or have rights to.
- No reverse-engineering, scraping, or attempting to disrupt service.
6. Content ownership
Coaches own playbook content created on their coach profile — plays, formations, installs, signals, wristbands, call sheets, and playsheets. Players own their study history. OnChalk owns the platform itself. You grant OnChalk a limited license to host, display, and operate the service on your behalf.
7. Account deletion & data
You may delete your account at any time. Personal identity data is removed. Roster entries you created for a player are preserved on that player’s account (so their study history isn’t lost) but unlinked from your name. See Privacy.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We’ll give reasonable notice unless safety or legal compliance requires otherwise.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is.” We do our best — but no software is perfect. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OnChalk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability won’t exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months prior.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction in California, unless your local law mandates otherwise.
12. Changes
We’ll notify active accounts of material changes by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
