Common questions
How do I get started as a coach?
Create a coach account, build a playbook, then add plays and formations in the Play Designer. When you’re ready, create an install and assign plays to your team so your players can study them on their own devices.
Do players or parents pay anything?
No. Viewing assigned installs is free for players. A coach subscription unlocks playbook building and team management.
How do players see their assignments?
Once a coach assigns an install, each player opens the app and sees only the installs assigned to them — with the route or assignment for their position on every play. If a player isn’t seeing an install, confirm the coach has published it and assigned that player or position group.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are managed through your Apple ID. On your device, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select OnChalk, and change or cancel there. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I forgot my password.
On the sign-in screen, choose “Forgot password” and follow the email link to reset it. If you signed in with Google or Apple, use that same provider button to sign back in.
How is youth-athlete data protected?
Accounts require age 13+. Younger players participate through a parent-linked profile. Data is stored on Google Cloud with encryption in transit and at rest. See Privacy for the full policy.
How do I delete my account or data?
You can delete your account from the app at any time, or email support@onchalk.com and we’ll take care of it. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
